My Favorite Appetizers are Dips

When it comes to appetizers, dips are probably my favorite kind. Of course, I love a good bacon wrapped jalapeño pepper or a meatball crescent cup, but if dips are available, you can usually find me loading my plate with chips and going to town!

How to Make Roasted Red Pepper Dip

This Roasted Red Pepper Dip is no exception. Plus it’s beyond easy to make!I’ll share the complete recipe at the bottom of this post. But here are some tips for you too.

What You Need

To make this dip, you need:

How to Blend The Dip Perfectly

There are a few things you can do to get the perfect consistency for the dip. You definitely don’t want a soupy mess or a runny dip.

  • Blot the red peppers – Use a paper towel to get the red peppers as dry as possible.
  • Use light cream cheese – I found that the light cream cheese mixed better. Try it with full fat if you prefer, it won’t change the consistency that much.
  • Use a food processorWhen you are mixing up the dip, use your food processor. This will mix everything up evenly and give you that creamy and thick consistency you love!

Keto Friendly Dip

This recipe is keto-friendly! There is no extra sugar and the cream cheese gives you the boost of fat you need.

Dip some cucumber slices in it instead of pita chips if you are watching your carbs.

I am very much looking forward to hogging the bowl of this yummy stuff on Sunday while my family cheers on the Panthers! I’ve become a Cam Newton fan over the past couple of years so I’d like to seem them take this one.

Are you planning on watching the game? Or will you just be there for the food? I’ll admit that as much as I’d like to see the Panthers win, I don’t really have a vested interest in the game. If the Falcons were playing (haha, right?!) then I’d definitely be glued to the TV, but since they aren’t, I’ll probably be spending most of my time around the snacks. But ya know what? That’s just fine by me.

Enjoy!
