We continue our efforts to restore our system and to get the power back on for everyone in our service area.

10pm update for Thursday, June 22.

Our crews have restored power to 912 meters since 6am.

We will continue to work until all members are restored.

8:30 pm update for Thursday, June 22.

We currently have crews working in the following areas:

Butler/Buffalo- Two crews assigned to this area.

Hilltop Lakes to Marquez- Two crews assigned to this area.

Freestone to Personville- Two crews assigned to this area.

Freestone to Donie- 1 crew assigned to this area.

Farrar- 2 crews assigned to this area.

Jewett to Centerville- 1 crew assigned to this area.

Jewett/Sand Bank- 1 crew assigned to this area.

Concord- 1 crew assigned to this area.

Camp Creek- 1 crew assigned to this area.

We have added additional mutual aid crews from San Bernard Electric Cooperative. We thank them and everyone else involved in our storm recovery for their dedication to restoring power for our members.

Step 1. Enter Name, Phone number and description of damage. You can upload images if you have them, but please do not approach downed lines.

Step 2. Enter address, GPS coordinates or zoom to location of damage on the map.

Step 3. Submit Entry.

Restoration efforts are still underway to restore power to our remaining 3231 meters.

We have added additional contract crews and mutual aid crews from Heart of Texas Electric Cooperative. We are very grateful for the help that our fellow cooperatives have sent our way.

10 am update for Thursday, June 22.

A heat advisory is in effect for our service area today. It is imperative that you make your safety a priority. Check on your elderly and vulnerable neighbors. If you are out of power now, expect to be out of power for the duration of the day and possibly into tomorrow.

Contract crews from Brightstar have arrived and more crews will arrive early afternoon.

Cooling Center Locations: (Open today noon-7pm)

Jewett Civic Center- 111 North Robinson Jewett, Tx

Normangee Civic Center- 231 West OSR Normangee, Tx

Buffalo Senior Center- 941 Hill Street Buffalo, Tx

Centerville Senior Center- 607 West Lassater Centerville, Tx

6am update for Thursday, June 22.

At this time, we can confirm we do have multiple power outages affecting approximately 3600 members.

The areas include:

Butler/Buffalo- Lines down in the area. One crew is assigned to this area.

Jewett to Centerville- Downed trees and limbs are being removed from the lines. One crew is assigned to this area.

Jewett/Sand Bank- All downed trees have been removed from the lines and a crossarm is being replaced. One crew assigned to this area.

Jewett to Concord- Downed limbs are being removed from the lines. One crew is assigned to this area.

Hilltop Lakes to Marquez- A large device has been restored and the crew is working their way down line, restoring remaining outages. One crew assigned to this area.

Franklin- One crew assigned to outages in this area.

Freestone area- Large tree on the line and two broken poles. Repairs and being made. Two crews assigned to this area.

Oletha/Lake Limestone- One crew assigned to this area.

Lake Limestone/Farrar- Trees have been removed from the line. Linemen are working down line to make any other necessary repairs. One crew assigned to this area.

Please be aware that sometimes during complicated repairs, you may have your lights come back on, only to have them go off again because we discover another problem that must be fixed.

Residents and businesses in our service area could be without electricity for up to 24 hours.

We apologize for any inconvenience this event may have caused.

While we feel we are making good progress, we will not be completely satisfied until everyone has their lights on.

Although we post service updates to social media, we do not monitor social media for reports of outages. All outages must be reported by phone or by text.
